This movie is still only in the early developmental stage and I'm already psyched about it.
Michael Biehn has confirmed he will be reprising Hicks, alongside Sigourney Weaver who is going to play Ripley for the first time in 18 years.

So excited for this!!! Newt looks so different now and is almost 40! (Not so shocking but you know what I mean) Didn't she die in Aliens though? Well it was discovered in #3 but yeah...

Newt and Hicks died in the opening sequence in Alien 3, largely because Carrie had aged six years in between movies and apparently Fox didn't want to negotiate a salary with Michael Biehn. The new movie is supposed to retcon and be a direct followup to Aliens and take place 30 years afterwards. |
