I've posted on about 40+ artist pages on lastfm with the link and caption, acts like Pink Floyd, Lauryn Hill, Madonna, Kate Bush, Paul Simon, Amy Winehouse, Led Zeppelin, Erykah Badu, Goldfrapp, Beck, Gorillaz, Blur, Joni Mitchell, Kanye West and sooo many others....also a number of obscurer acts too (including some of my faves lol)! I don't think it'll be that effective but it's worth a shot!  |

Hmmm still not ready for this. lol lemonaid do you like Laura Nyro? I know some songs but never got around to listening more she's among those artists I always see and know I should listen to but they elude me lol, like Neko Case |

Randomly I found out that Natalie Cole chose one of her albums as one of her all-time faves! Neko Case? Random. lol She is good, I like some from her, listen to This Tornado Loves You kinda like a mix of Kirsty MacColl & Fleetwood Mac. |

I joined this forum just now.
I guess there are a lot of technicalities involved with a lot of experienced artists doing albums under different project names over time, which muddles the debut album thing a little bit, but whatever. Let's go with the idea that each new project name counts as its own debut.
Interestingly, as I started looking through my stuff, I quickly realized that there are a bunch of debut albums from artists I like that I never listened to properly. And an another bunch that I haven't heard in such a long time that I would need to re-evaluate (cases where I've spent my time keeping up with the latest releases instead, or bands I loved as a teenager, but haven't listened to in a long time - I am 23 now and not entirely sure I can trust the judgement of my teen age self in all cases anymore).
But anyway, here are some I have listened to recently and I can definitely stand behind, I tried to put them in some sort of an order too (Which is SUPER TOUGH):
