I am friends with Dustin who is a mod on UKMix and he alerted me that several of the pop-leaning mods have been whining that the Games section has been ruined by an "annoying, growing rock indie clique", you know... people who actually are willing to vote for music beyond the same seven or eight TIRED divas. That really irks me, because not one of the rock fans there has ever been as pompous and stannish as those who will vote off an all-time classic song just to protect a Japan-only bonus track from a Britney album from 2000 or some random Mariah b-side. But alas, we're the bad guys because after years of the games section being nothing but divas divas divas and more divas, there's become a bit more diversity in there.  |

This And That or the main UKMix page. I am really irked about this because I don't see what any of us have done that is so wrong except that we actually enjoy more than the same six or seven divas. I know which mod bitched the loudest, and its funny because the same person is a stan for a few acts himself.

Pathetic to be honest. The only rock stan that almost caused some trouble in the games section is that Queen fan (forgot his name!), and he doesn't even post very much.
Divas lovers are pissed because in the last years people with different tastes have showed they're tired of the same old Mariah songs winning. But I won't complain there. It's not worth it. At least The Album Cup and the recent Survivor of Survivors have awarded non-female acts for a change.

I find it so amusing. I mean, after years and years of "Rihanna songs that peaked at #3" or "Track #4 off a female artists' second album" types of survivors, there's become more diversity on the forum and it isn't just 99% divas divas divas.
The worst still is TheArmy, someone so wrapped up in a diva vortex that he couldn't possibly grasp the idea of someone buying a Beck album because someone would actually want to listen to the music, because his ass shits rainbows because he's so far up the mentality of divas divas divas that the only reason to support Beck is because you're a "hater" of Beyonce and doing it to show your hatred for her.

I've lost a lot interest in the the current album cup because it is so female heavy, I think 17 of the 23 albums are by female singer/somgwriters or female fronted bands. That's just too many women whining in my ear pretty much constantly, to last the distance. |

I do like a lot of the females in the album cup, but I swear. some people on UKMix have a severe allergic reaction to anything with a penis unless it's one of the "well, he's basically a diva" type of male artists like Bruno (who I do like, of all the MJ wannabes, he's the only one who has the closest thing to the spirit of it), Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith, Maroon 5 (my main hatred of them comes from the fact that most of the stans frown on anything rock/indie/alternative, but say that Maroon 5 is the one "rock exception" when really, they're as rock as Katy Perry and P!nk lol), Bieber, Chris Brown, Usher and a few others that are top 40 enough that they're safe for Rihanna stans. Anything else is suddenly "icky".

Matthew sent him a PM saying it was a final warning over his usage of "cock chomper" and he got very upset at the accusation of being homophobic and typed "fuck you" to Matthew with the letters spaced out so you could read the word. He was permanently banned less than an hour later. Martin and I had our differences on the board but I did always enjoy his presence there, but I know what the heat of anger feels like, especially since I don't believe he is homophobic either. |

I think I was totally justified in using such strong words and showing such anger towards that little ewok looking cunt. You can't just go bandying statements like that around, about people, it is severe defamation of character, libellous.
I am not homophobic. There was not a single anti homosexual thought within in my mind, at the time I wrote "all you cock chompers" and there aren't any, any other times either. I was pretty perplexed that it was even deemed as homophobic. It was meant in a kind of bonhomme way, with a smile on my face. Not in a nasty, disapproving or derogatory way.
I did not deserve a warning of him in the first place. He has misconstrued my tone, attached his own meaning to my words and then acted incorrectly and improperly by labelling me as a homophobe.
